Why did you decide to pursue public relations as a career?

I've always had an interest in Public Relations. My major in college was Corporate Communication, which is a mix between PR and Marketing. When I graduated, my first job was in Digital Marketing, something I was very unfamiliar with at that time. I found that I loved working with people but still desired a little more creativity in my day-to-day life. PR is the perfect mix between strategy and creativity and from what I've learned so far, every day is unique!

What lessons have you learned throughout your career that you will bring to your role at FrazierHeiby?

With my previous job in Digital Marketing I've learned the importance of setting clear campaign goals while having a well-rounded marketing approach. I primarily worked with small businesses so I have empathy for business owners and what it takes for a business of any size to be successful. Beyond my Digital Marketing position I had sales and customer service jobs that have helped me fine-tune my ability to work with customers and understand business needs at a basic level.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

There are so many places on my bucket list right now, but if I had to choose just one I would probably say Germany. I studied German throughout high school and college so it would be fun to try and speak the language to see if I retained anything I learned! I'm part German as well so I would love to learn more about my heritage and see some of the historical sights there.
