A summer reading list isn’t just for kids. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or enjoying the breeze at the beach, grownups need a good book, too. We compiled a list of our recent favorites along with a few reasons you should add them to your summer reading list.  Sara Berman's ClosetIf you’re looking for a mental break, Ann suggests the short, sweet read Sara Berman's Closet. This title is brought to us by best-selling author Maira Kalman and the creative writer and designer Alex Kalman. BecomingCassie is really into audiobooks and just finished listening to bestseller Becoming, the intimate, powerful and inspiring memoir by former First Lady Michelle Obama. Although she shares about her time in the White House, it is less about politics and more about her life, struggles and success. All with a refreshing candor.  Life Will Be the Death of Me:... And You Too!Cassie is also currently listening to the audiobook of the tough, sarcastic and outspoken comedian Chelsea Handler as she breaks down and talks about her years of self-discovery, struggles and heartbreak in Life Will Be the Death of Me:... And You Too!  The Path Made ClearAs a huge Oprah fan, it’s not altogether surprising that Josh recommends The Path Made Clear by Oprah Winfrey. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to to continuously improve, learn and grow. As Oprah says, "Your real job in life is to figure out as soon as possible what that is, who you are meant to be, and begin to honor your calling in the best way possible." Braving the WildernessJohn, who has been following researcher Brené Brown for years, recently read her book Braving the Wilderness: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone. It's a timely read that deals with human connection, navigating life in a fractured world and the difference between true belonging and fitting in.  Big MagicOur graphic designer, Wesleigh, is currently working her way through Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert, whose name you may recognize from her best-selling sensation Eat, Pray, Love. This book is an interesting glimpse into Gilbert’s process and philosophies about being brave with your creativity. What are you reading right now? Let us know in the comments below!
